Then apply another layer of paint. But sometimes you have to work with what you have. Start in the corner farthest from the door to avoid painting.
On the painted strip of chipboard kind of hard to see here but the end finish is a bit glossy. Next apply an oil-based primer with a brush or roller and wait 4 hours for it to dry. Apply one coat of paint to the surface and allow it to dry.
